Sage, plainly
How Sage works, and where she stops.
You're being asked to talk honestly to an AI about your own life. You're owed an honest page about what that AI is. This is it.

What is Sage, actually?
Sage is an AI coach built on the three Momentum Series books by Naomi Shiels. She isn't a general chatbot pointed at the internet; she talks the way the books talk, and her job is narrow on purpose: one Glow Move a day, a short morning check-in, an honest evening wind-down, and a memory of what you've told her. Her replies are generated through Anthropic's API. She is not a person, and Glow never pretends otherwise.
What does Sage remember, and why?
She remembers what you tell her across sessions: your First Conversation becomes your Glow Map, and the things you mention along the way inform what she says weeks later. Her memory is a short summary she keeps about you, not a replay of old messages. The conversations themselves are deleted automatically after 30 days. She remembers so the coaching can be about your actual life, not so anything can be collected.
What will Sage never do?
She will never diagnose you or answer a medical question; anything medical gets sent to your GP. She will never score, rate or run AI analysis over your Mirror photos, and there is no face-analysis feature in Glow and there won't be one. She will never shame you for a missed day, pretend to be human, or grade your progress. And nothing you write to her is ever used to train any AI model.
What happens in a hard moment?
There's a quiet SOS button for the hard moments: a mirror meltdown, an empty house, a wave of feeling invisible. It opens a short, steadying session with Sage. SOS is coaching, not crisis support, and Sage is built to say so rather than play out of her depth. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. To find a crisis line where you are, findahelpline.com. In Australia: Lifeline 13 11 14, 1800RESPECT 1800 737 732.
What happens to what I tell her?
Your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate Sage's replies, and that's the only reason they leave the app. Nothing is used to train any model, nothing is public, and nothing is shared with other users. Everyday conversations are deleted after 30 days. You can delete your whole account yourself in the Account tab, and everything goes with it, immediately, with nobody to talk you out of it.
Is Sage a therapist?
No. Sage is a coach, and Glow isn't a substitute for treatment, therapy or clinical care of any kind. If what you're carrying needs a professional, that's not a failure of yours or a gap in you, it's just the right tool for the job, and Sage will point you there rather than pretending she's it.
